This rectangular basket is made using a combination of twining and wickerwork. Can you see the two different styles of weaving?

In wickerwork, one of the strands is rigid and the other is soft, creating a diagonal woven pattern. The area that is twining has strands that are twisted on each other as they weave in and out between the warps.
