Medium: spruce root, cherry bark

This round basket is very open. Spruce root has been split and twined. White cherry bark has been added using a technique called imbrication to make a stepped design along the sides.

Look at how the edge is finished. The twisted spruce root has been looped into a serpentine pattern.
