Title: William Case, Pioneer Methodist Missionary.

Remarks: Elder Case was the teacher of Reverend George McDougall. Born in 1780 in Swansea, Massachusets. Entered the ministry and stationed at Bay of Quinte, then Detroit. Presiding elder of Methodist church in Canada and northwestern New Yaor, 1910-1927. In 1828 became superintendent of First Nations schools and missions in Upper Canada. In charge of Wesleyan industrial school for First Nations people at Alnwick, 1837-1851. Died at Alnwick October 19, 1855.

Title: Mr. and Mrs. Moses Chantler, farmers near Meaford, Ontario.

Remarks: Quaker parents of Elizabeth Chantler (Mrs. George McDougall). Came to Canada from England. Mr. Chantler died in 1874 and Mrs. Chantler (nee Sarah Hoad) in 1878 (aged 86). Reverend George McDougall, married Elizabeth Chantler, January 10, 1842.
