Remarks: John Cook Leslie was born in Ontario and worked for the Merchchant's bank which transferred him to Calgary in 1902. In 1908, he quit the bank and esablised J.C. Leslie and Company, a real estate agent.
Parents of John, known as Jack Leslie, who was mayor of Calgary from 1965-1969.
