Remarks: Paul Boesch, (1913?-1989), a native of the Bronx, New York, began his career in wrestling in 1932. He was active in wrestling through the late 1940's, with an interruption by Second World War. He settled in Houston, Texas and became a television announcer and promotional assistant for Morris Siegel.
After Siegel passed away in 1967, Boesch bought the promotion and was the leading promoter in Houston until August, 1987, when he retired. He was involved in the wrestling industry for over 55 years and was recognized as one of the most popular promoters in the modern era of wrestling.
