Remarks: The Alberta division of the Canadian Red Cross society was founded in 1914 to provide sevices for soldiers and the war effort. Ladies' serving groups were established and volunteers worked to meet all troop trains leaving and entering Calgary, Alberta. R. B. Bennett was one of the presidents of the Alberta division during the war years.
