Title: Construction of Interprovincial Pipe Line.

Remarks: After the pipe is welded in a continuous line it is left beside ditch awaiting the priming and wrapping machines along Interprovincial's crude oil pipe line from Alberta oil fields to the Great Lakes.

Remarks: A small caravan of sleds carrying mobile generators and compressors supplied the power for welders working on the 1,772-mile-long Interprovincial pipe line which runs from Edmonton, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario.

Remarks: Stretching into the distance, part of the Interprovincial pipe line lies beside its five-foot deep trench waiting to be cleaned and wrapped in protective fibreglas before burial. Interprovincial runs from Edmonton, Alberta to Sarnia, Ontario, a distance of 1,772 miles.
