Remarks: The Imperial Oil head office building, which was built in 1916, was located 56 Church Street. The building with the cladding around it in the foreground is to be torn down and replaced with an addition consisting of an additonal 5 bays on Church Street and 3 bays on King Street.

Remarks: C.O. Stillman (right), president of Imperial Oil Limited, accepts a cheque from A. MacCorkindale, manager of the Company's marketing branch at Victoria, British Columbia, as chairman of an Employees' Committee. Also in the photograph are Charles Wall of Toronto, representing marketing, James Wade of Sarnia, representing manufacturing, and Matt Smith of Petrolia, representing production.
