Remarks: The horses are moving up the south fork of the North Saskatchewan River toward Howse Pass and Freshfield Glacier.
This was a one month geological reconnaissance trip sponsored by the Geological Society of America and led by Dr. J.A. Allan of the University of Alberta, to map the geology from Nordegg to Howse Pass.
