Remarks: Veteran of several Tarzan films in Hollywood, his trainer gave him to the zoo because he wouldn't follow instructions any longer. Several other chimps with the same name appeared in the films as well.

Remarks: L-R: "Toni", 8 years old; zoo employee George Halliday; Detective Sergeant Don Nelson of the city police identification branch holding camera.
Nelson was trying to get mug shots and fingerprints of "Toni" and her mate "Tuffy" for the Frankfurt Zoo, which was compiling a history of all gorillas in captivity.
