History:
Conrich local 231 of the United Farm Women of Alberta (UFWA) was established in 1926. The organization changed its name to Farm Women's Union of Alberta (FWUA) in 1949 and the Conrich local number changed to 1007. In 1958 the local's name was changed to Chestermere, and in 1970 the provincial organization's name became Women of Unifarm. Chestermere local's number became 102-07.

Scope and Content:
The fonds consists of minutes (1926-1990), treasurers' records (1926-1949), catering records (1953-1979), conference reports (1931-1964), scrapbook (1975), and Farmers' Union of Alberta (FUA) sub-district 10 minutes (1950-1962). Includes brief histories of the organization, written by former members.
