Western Canada Fertilizer Association fonds

Due to the increase in fertilizer production and consumption in western Canada, it was resolved at the 1964 Canadian Fertilizer Association annual meeting that an association for the western provinces be formed. The Western Canadian Fertilizer Association was organized in 1965, to promote and improve the manufacture, distribution, and intelligent and economical use of fertilizers. It collects and disseminates technical information about fertilizers, provides a forum for members, and supports research projects.

Scope and Content:
The fonds consists of constitution, minutes, membership lists, correspondence, proceedings of annual meetings, financial statements, committee records and newsletters.

Gift of Western Canadian Fertilizer Association, 1982, 1988.
