History: Warren Sinclair, 1956- , was born in Kingston, Ontario and educated in Winnipeg, London and Ottawa. He began researching his family history, and Metis genealogy in general, in 1972. He has been employed by Canada Post and Library and Archives Canada, and after 2000 worked with the Directorate of History and Heritage, Department of National Defence.
Scope and Content: The collection consists of approximately 450 short biographies of Metis ancestors and 910 descendancy tables. Most of the individuals charted were born before 1900. The biographies and tables are indexed by surname.
