United Farmers of Alberta Oral History Project collection

The interviews in this collection were done by Una MacLean Evans, a Glenbow Archives staff member, who was commissioned to record the memories of former United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) politicians, including Premiers, Members of the Legislative (MLAs), Members of Parliament (MPs), Progressives, and others.

Scope and Content:
The collection consists of recordings and transcripts of interviews with the following individuals: Hugh Allen, John E. Brownlee, James A. Cameron, T.A. Crerar, Edward J. Garland, William Irvine, George Johnston, J. Russell Love, William Thomas Lucas, J.F. Lymburn, R. Milton McCool, Lorne Proudfoot, Richard Gavin Reid, Henry Spencer, Mary Sutherland, and Ray Wood. Includes a photograph of Una MacLean Evans interviewing R.G. Reid; and a brief biography of Irene Parlby.

The material is in English.
