Thomas Rennie "Pat" McCloy, 1906-1996, was born in Meskanaw, Saskatchewan. He received a BA from the University of Saskatchewan and a BLS from the University of Toronto. For a year after the war he was in charge of the library at the Khaki University of Canada in England. He then worked at the Provincial Library of British Columbia, the University of British Columbia Library, the Public Archives of Canada and the National Library.
