Title: Rideau-Roxboro Community Association fonds

History: The Rideau-Roxboro Community Association of Calgary, Alberta was registered under the Alberta Societies Act on May 13, 1960. Its objects were to provide a community hall and recreation facilities for residents in the Roxboro and Rideau Park neighbourhoods of southwest Calgary, and to act in an advisory capacity to the City of Calgary with respect to city planning. The association established a Planning Advisory Committee to research and prepare briefs for the City on planning proposals which would affect the community.
Scope and Content: The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence, city planning documents, briefs, financial records and extensive photographs and slides of houses in the Rideau-Roxboro area.
