Mabel Brinkley fonds
12.5 cm of textual records. -- 114 photographs
Mabel Brinkley, ?-1959, came to Canada from the USA in 1955. She resided in Banff for several years and collected research material for the writing of a local Banff history which was never published. She was also involved in organizing and promoting the David Thompson Foundation in 1957. However, she was suspected of fraudulent activities. She died in the Oliver Mental Institution.
Brinkley's effects were taken by the Public Trustees office, Edmonton and later transferred to the Glenbow.
