History: The Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Local 333, Calgary, Alberta, received its charter in 1905. It is part of an international organization started in Michigan, USA in 1889. The name was changed to the Ladies Auxiliary to the United Transportation Union in 1970. The objectives of the auxiliary are to unite the families of the UTU and to promote their welfare socially, morally and intellectually. The local is also called the Mountain View Lodge.
Scope and Content: The fonds consists of charter, constitution, minutes (1926-1968), membership registers, newsclippings and photograph of members.
