The Jane Austen Society of North America (JASNA) was founded in 1979 to promote the study, appreciation and understanding of Jane Austen's literary works, her life and times. The Calgary Chapter was organized in Calgary, Alberta by Elizabeth Marshall in January 2000.

Scope and Content:
The fonds consists of minutes, newsletters, membership lists, programs of annual conferences and special events, and photographs of members and activities.

Gift of Elizabeth Marshall and Jennifer Hamblin, 2001-2010.
