History: Dale Keenan of Pincher Creek was originally a resident of the Champion-Carmangay-Vulcan area of Alberta. He began to collect historical information about that area in 1967. By 1978 he had accumulated a large number of scrapbooks documenting activities, people and events in the area, particularly with regard to sports and schools.
Scope and Content: The collection consists of scrapbooks of newsclippings, booklets, photographs, etc. about the Champion-Carmangay-Vulcan area. Includes a 1915 photograph of Champion.
