A Calgary Artists Society in Calgary, Alberta was active briefly during the 1940s and early 1950s. The Calgary Art Club was established in 1964 at the instigation of Mona Hodgins. Its purpose was to help members improve their standards through peer criticism and to expose their work to the public through annual exhibitions. The name was changed to the Calgary Artists' Society on December 7, 1964.
Scope and Content:
The fonds consists of minutes, membership lists, attendance reports, correspondence, newsletters, audited financial statements and scrapbooks.

Gift of Calgary Artists' Society, 1992-2007.
