History: Aron Eichler, 1932- , was born in Poland and came to Canada with his family in 1949. He trained as a teacher in Montreal, and then moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1952 to take a position at the I.L. Peretz School, a Jewish private school. He married Ida Zysblat of Calgary, and they had three children, Pattie, Jeff and Ritchie. In 1963 he became principal of the school, a position he held for the next 24 years. His wife also taught at the school for many years.
Scope and Content: The fonds consists of speeches, correspondence, teachers' agreements, school newspapers, and newsclippings pertaining to his career as principal of I.L. Peretz School.
